
My approach to therapy
Welcome! My name is Vinnie (he/him). I am an inclusive, affirming therapist. I warmly welcome all identities and experiences into my practice. I collaborate with my clients on a path toward finding balance, clarity, acceptance, motivation, growth, and healing. My focus is always on your goals and needs in any given moment. I strive to meet you where you’re at, understand how you got there, and support you in getting where you want to be.
My approach is informed by Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), which has been shown to help people with many different problems reduce suffering and increase positive emotions. I value safety, transparency, and feedback in my therapeutic relationships, because you’re entitled to know about your treatment and I want to know what’s working for you as well as what might need to change in order to be more helpful.
